HR Administrator - Interim Support
Location: EUAA HQ, Valletta.
Tentative start date: ASAP till 31/01/2027.
Salary Category IV - Gross monthly: EUR 3,920.31 Euros.
Job Description
The successful candidate will provide comprehensive administrative and logistical support to the team, with a particular focus on Learning and Development. Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting with the induction and onboarding of new staff
- Managing learning and training requests.
- Providing support in the appraisal and reclassification exercises.
- Assisting with the mobility project.
- Supporting the coordination of activities related to the Staff Engagement Survey action plan.
- Archiving and maintaining files (both paper and electronic).
- Updating databases and preparing reports and statistics.
- Providing general administrative support to team members and the Head of Human Resources as required.
- Performing any other administrative duties as assigned.
Minimum qualifications
- Bachelor degree
Minimum Experience
- 1 year of relevant experience
General requirements
- Very good knowledge of MS Office, particularly Outlook and Word (mandatory); proficiency in Excel is desirable.
- Excellent attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and a high level of spoken and written English (C1).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience performing administrative tasks.
- Experience in HR and financial transactions is desirable.
- Experience or strong interest in Learning and Development is considered an asset.

Non-resident rate: Non-Maltese employees who are moving to Malta for the purposes of employment will be subject to "Non-resident" tax rates for the first 183 days from arrival – these are higher than the standard rates. Once 183 days of residence are reached, income tax will be recalculated for the entire period of employment in the current year from arrival in Malta, and the tax will be adjusted to recover any overpaid tax. If the 183-day period extends into the following year, and 183 days of residence in Malta are not accumulated, the overpaid tax will need to be claimed back from the authorities with personal income tax return.
