To support the implementation of ICD's corporate marketing, branding, and communication initiatives by assisting with content creation, digital presence management, and coordination of communication activities. This role is designed for a motivated professional with a solid foundation in marketing and communications who is eager to learn and grow within a leading developmental financial institution. The role incumbent will work closely with senior team members to execute communication plans, maintain brand consistency, and support various marketing projects.
Content Creation and Brand Support
- Assist in creating content for various communication channels (website, social media, newsletters, presentations).
- Support the maintenance of ICD's brand identity by ensuring materials follow established brand guidelines.
- Draft and edit copy for internal and external communications under supervision.
- Translate and localize content between English and Russian (if applicable).
- Proofread and quality-check communication materials.
Digital Presence and Social Media
- Support the management of ICD's social media channels by preparing content and monitoring engagement.
- Assist in scheduling posts and tracking social media metrics.
- Help maintain website content by coordinating with relevant departments for updates.
- Support digital marketing campaigns under the guidance of senior team members.
- Monitor online presence and report insights to the team.
Media Relations and Event Support
- Assist in preparing media materials (press releases, media kits, fact sheets).
- Help coordinate logistics for ICD events (conferences, workshops, exhibitions, seminars).
- Support event promotion through various communication channels.
- Assist with documentation of events (photos, videos, reports).
- Help maintain media contact lists and databases.
Internal Communications
- Support internal communication initiatives including newsletters and announcements.
- Assist in coordinating communication between departments.
- Help maintain internal communication channels and platforms.
- Support employee engagement activities from a communications perspective.
Administrative Support
- Maintain organized files and archives of communication materials.
- Track project timelines and deliverables.
- Coordinate with external vendors (designers, photographers, printers) as needed.
- Assist with budget tracking and invoice processing
- Prepare presentations and reports for senior management.
Qualifications / Professional Experience
Required:
- At least 3 years of experience in marketing, communications, or related role preferably in the banking, financial services of international development sector , is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field is required.
- Master’ s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communication or any other relevant discipline or a Professional certification in Digital Marketing or related field is required.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Basic understanding of social media platforms and digital marketing
- Strong writing and editing skills
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS)
- Basic knowledge of design software (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite)
- Experience with social media management tools
Desirable:
- Additional language skills (Arabic, French, Russian or other)
- Coursework or certification in digital marketing
- Experience with email marketing platforms
- Understanding of SEO basics
