Job Description
Responsibilities
In close collaboration with the Migration Health Coordinator and/or Senior Project Associate (Migration Area Coordination), provide administrative support to IOM team in support to healthcare partners work on provision of health-related services within TRC.
Provide support to IOM team and partners in coordination and implementation of planned activities focusing on providing administrative support to healthcare partners in charge of provision of primary health care service, outreach health promotion activities, sexual and reproductive health services in TRC.
Provide administrative support to healthcare partners initial health screening work, and their efforts to register beneficiaries in the TRC to secure professional and human centred approach.
Assist with all projects relevant administrative activities related to referral of patients to emergency services, external consultations and/or secondary level referral.
Provide administrative support to relevant Cantonal Public Health Institutes as assigned. assist in communicating result analysis and recommendations implementation to IOM teams and other partners.
Provide administrative support to implementation of health promotion and health prevention activities within the TRC in coordination with the camp management team and partners.
Provide administrative support to IOM team and health partners efforts.
Prepare Standard Purchase Requisition forms (PRF) and liaise with Procurement department to ensure that all work relevant items/ services are ordered as per required specifications and forward the relevant documentation delivery to Procurement department for further processing and payment.
Retrieve, compile, summarize, and present information/data on specific project topics.
Monitor budget; verify availability of funds; obtain necessary approval and update budget related information.
Support administrative coordination of project implementation, involving liaison with diverse organizational units and external parties to initiate requests, obtain necessary clearances, process and follow-up on administrative actions, etc.
Draft status reports, identifying shortfalls in delivery and bringing them to the attention of the supervisor.
Draft correspondence, reports, briefing notes, graphics, statistical tables, presentations and other forms of documentation.
Organize meetings, workshops and training sessions.
Respond to general information requests and inquiries; set up and maintain files/records.
Perform such other duties as may be assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Medicine, Pharmacy, Nursing, Economics or relevant social science field with a minimum of 2 years of working experience in Development Sector.
- High school degree, with a minimum of 4 years of experience of working in Development Sector.
Work experience in development sector, assistance of vulnerable populations, or collaboration with health sector organizations.
Experience in working with foreign nationals, irregular migrants, trafficked persons, children, and/or other vulnerable populations.
Experience in counselling, networking, coordinating activities and ensuring access to services to vulnerable populations.
Excellent understanding and application of ethical practices within the disciplines and a good understanding of rights-based approaches and MHPSS.
Proficient in computer applications.
Good written and spoken communications skills.
Good interpersonal skills, high loyalty, ability to work in a multi - cultural environment and good working in team.
Driving license is essential for this position.
In depth knowledge of the broad range of migration related subject areas dealt with by the Organization.
For this position, fluency in English and one of the three official languages of Bosnia and Herzegovina (Bosnian, Croatian and Serbian) is required (oral and written).
